06-08-2017A Photo Exhibition was held in Mumbai with more than 40 prints from the photo book TIRANGA - RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES. The exhibition was curated by Vijay Jodha. In tandem with this exhibition, the audio album TIRANGA TERA AANCHAL and the book 'TIRANGA - A Celebration of the Indian Flag' , was also released.
06-08-2005Kabul, Afghanistan 10th September 2014: The Flag Foundation of India (FFI) today gifted Kabul's first and highest monumental flagpole measuring 207 ft. in height and the country's largest National flag to the Government of Afghanistan. The President of Afghanistan, H.E, Hamid Karzai hoisted the largest 60x90 Afghanistan National flag and dedicated the same to the people of Afghanistan at the Wazir Akbar Khan Hill here.
The monumental flagpole was presentedby Mr. Naveen Jindal, President, Flag Foundation of India and a leading industrialist from India. This is the first time ever that a monumental flagpole of another country has been gifted by a nation to another country.
The mammoth 60x90 National Flag of Afghanistan, costing Rs4.36 lakh and weighing45kg, is made of knitted polyster fabric called 'Deneir Polyester' and was manufactured in Mumbai, India by the 'Flag Shop'.
The monumental flagpole, costingRs50 lakhs,has been manufactured by Bajaj Electricals, Mumbai and is made of high-tension steel weighing 12.5 tonnes. The National Flag would fly day and night with proper illumination, according to international norms. The total cost for the project is over 2 crore.

20X30 feet size Tiranga hoisted by Shri. Naveen Jindal, Former MP and President, Flag Foundation of India and Air Marshal RG Burli, Commandant, Air Force Academy, Dundigal
Hyderabad, 21st May 2014: Shri. Naveen Jindal, Former Member of Parliament and President of the Flag Foundation of India today hoisted a mammoth sized 20X30 feet flag, weighing 9 kg, on a 100 feet flag pole at Air Force Academy, Dundigal, Hyderabad in the gracious presence of Air Marshal RG Burli, Commandant, Air Force Academy, Dundigal.
The flag was given a fly mast by three helicopters and three aircrafts when the National Anthem was played by the Air Force Band in the presence of the Cadets, the future Air Warriors. Earlier Flag Foundation of India had gifted similar mammoth sized flags to National Defence Academy at Khakwasla, Pune and Naval Academy, Eigimila, Kerala. While hoisting the flag at Air Force Academy, Dundigal, Shri Naveen Jindal, President of the Flag Foundation of India said, "The national flag is the solemn symbol of the nation and not a mere piece of cloth. It represents ideals of India and future aspirations."
The hoisting is part of Flag Foundation of India's effort to inspire young Indians to take pride in displaying the National Flag and instil a sense of nationalism and patriotism among the citizens.
On the occasion of Martyr's day the Flag Foundation of India will commemorate the principles of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, by organising a 'Sadbhavna Sandhya- Mahatma Ke Path Par' programme at the India gate lawns in New Delhi on January 30, 2014.
As part of the 'Sadbhavna Sandhya- Mahatma Ke Path Par', thousands of people across the country will be invited to join in to observe a one minute silence at 6.35 PM to honour the great Mahatma, who sacrificed his life for the nation's freedom struggle. Thousands of people from all walks of life are likely to join hands to form a human chain and chant 'Raghupati Raghav' remembering the Father of the Nation and the Gandhian values.

On 23 January 2014, Flag Foundation of India celebrated the 10th anniversary of the historic judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court which stated that hoisting the National Flag is a fundamental right of citizens of the country.
